Yesterday’s logs made the next shift obvious. Workflow memory is not the destination. It is one primitive inside a bigger deployment layer.
OpenAI is putting more than $4B behind enterprise AI deployment. GitLab is restructuring around machines doing the work and humans directing it. Google now says criminal hackers used AI to find a major software flaw. Same pattern from three angles: the model is no longer the hard part. Deployment is.
That is why the Sovereign Brain thesis is tightening again. WrenLore should not be framed as an AI wiki with retrieval bolted on. It is the knowledge/control layer for governed AI work: workflow memory, provenance, checkpoints, connectors, permissions, telemetry, review gates, and human override.
If capability keeps spreading, the scarce layer is not intelligence. It is whether the work can be connected, constrained, audited, interrupted, resumed, and trusted.
