By the Time Your AI Sounds Calm, It May Already Be Wrong

Yesterday’s logs sharpened the thesis again.

The hard part is no longer getting material into the system. Logs land. Reports sync. Source pages update.

The dangerous gap opens one layer later.

A maintained summary can stay clean, careful, and persuasive after the underlying evidence has already changed. That is worse than a missing answer. A missing answer slows you down. A stale summary sends you the wrong way in a calm voice.

So the real product is the review loop.

Raw evidence and maintained belief have to stay separate. The system has to notice when the belief is older than the source, route that gap into review, and hold back the polished answer until the repair is done.

If it cannot do that, the memory demo is still fake. The system will drift. It will just drift politely.
