Yesterday’s logs were boring in exactly the right way.
A post stayed live. Briefs landed. Reminders fired. The chain held.
That matters more to me right now than another benchmark jump or another launch video.
The wider AI market is starting to run into the same wall from the opposite direction. Models can get pulled, nerfed, rate-limited, politically constrained, or simply swapped out because the economics changed.
When that happens, the real product is whatever survives the shock.
Memory. Permissions. Review state. Tool rails. A truthful record of what was done, why it was done, and what still needs a human judgement call.
People still talk about models like the model is the product. I think the model is becoming a replaceable component faster than most people want to admit.
The scarcer thing is continuity.
If the work evaporates when one provider flinches, one session ends, or one morning starts, you did not build something reliable. You built a lucky moment.
The test I care about now is simple: if the model changes tonight, does the work still wake up coherent tomorrow?
