No one wants to attend their AI’s standup.
Yesterday made the same point from two angles.
One system got stricter about what it is allowed to write durably. Another earned the right to stay quiet because its repair work never spilled onto the human surface.
Same lesson, different plumbing.
The easy demo is loud autonomy. The hard product is silent maintenance.
As these systems get more memory and more reach, the scarce feature is containment: provenance, promotion gates, audience boundaries, repair loops that stay behind the wall.
The human should meet the system at the point of judgment, not while it is still cleaning up after itself.
If the product keeps dragging you into its own continuity work, you are still doing backstage operations with a chat box on top.
